TITLE: 9 Vacations Your Dog Would Love
Traveling with a dog is easy — all that you need is little planning.
Luckily, many hotels are becoming pet friendly, and you can now explore anywhere around the world with your pet. However, selecting the ideal vacation destination and budgeting is not easy.
Therefore, to help you out, here are 10 great vacations your dog would love and won’t necessarily break the bank.
1. Banff in Alberta, Canada
When you love the great outdoors, Banff is the place for you. Surrounded by wilderness, plenty of snow, and fresh air, it’s filled with everything your pet is craving. It’s popular for its great sled dog activities plus friendly dog trails
2. Cape San Blas in Florida
You love the beach, don’t you? We all do. This is why Cape San Blas has made this top 10 list. With numerous off-leash dog activities, many dogs, and sunshiny days, this is an ideal vacation for pups and pet parents looking just to kick back, relax and watch the ocean waves hit the shore.
3. Mutt Lynch Winery in California
If you love wine and your dog, this is one of the only wineries in America where you can bring your dog along. They are even celebrated with daily events, such as “Yappy Hour,” providing pet parents a comfortable place to sip on some wine and enjoy their furry friend.
4. Honolulu
Do you need to live your dream tropical vacation, but you can’t leave Fido behind? Then Honolulu may be the perfect place. With numerous adventures and pet-friendly accommodations, this is an ideal place to happily spend your days in the sun. For example, the Best Western Plaza Hotel, a pet-friendly hotel, provides easy access to the location’s most popular destinations, including parks, universities and beaches. For example, the memorable Pearl Harbor USS Arizona is only three miles away. Even though some attractions aren’t pet-friendly, the pet-friendly hotels are more than happy to pet sit for a few hours while you enjoy yourself.
5. The Resort Camino Jane
Can you believe it? A water resort meant for dogs? Is it real? Roca del Valles in Barcelona has stolen the hearts of many dog lovers with unbelievable water park specifically designed for dogs only. They have even flotation devices and life jackets.
6. Lake Louise, Alberta
With idyllic mountains and crystal blue water, Lake Louse is among the must-see destinations for dogs and humans alike. Like our number one attraction, Lake Louise offers tons of water fun, hiking trails and a variety of high-class pet-friendly hotels.
7. The Disney Campsites in Florida
If hotels are not your thing and you prefer spending your night under the stars, then this campground may be an option, especially if you want to visit Disney. This is a mini getaway from the busy life of the big city but is minutes from the Disney resort.
8. Utah
Utah, in general, is a big state. It’s filled with different campsites, hiking trails and even dog-friendly swimming holes. From exploring its amazing rock formations to motoring around Salt Lake City, Utah is a boon for dog loving adventurists.
9. The Surf Dog Competition
The Unleashed by Petco Surf City Surf Dog Competition held annually in Huntington Beach, California, is perhaps the greatest dog-centric experience of all time. Its founders have designed a fantastic and safe space for dog lovers, beach bums, and surf nuts to spend three whole days just watching this spectacular event. They provide lessons for pups that want to surf and even a prize pack for the competition winner.

Meet Pumba, the Sweet Pointer Mix

SONY DSC I’m Pumba. I love people that will be gentle with me and give me time to warm up to them. I do well with any dog, and I am willing to snuggle up with cats! One of my special skills is being able to smile (while lying on my back)! Though I do enjoy exercising, I tend to be a mellow dog most of the time. I would love to have a warm home with soft beds, gentle people, and plenty of treats. If you will give me time, I will soon be the most loyal best friend you will ever have! Click here to read more.
